This is my fannish journal. I'm a twenty-something from Scotland, and my current obsession is Supernatural. Past obsessions have included Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and, er, briefly Drizzt Do'urden from Dungeons and Dragons, but I don't talk about that much. I didn't produce anything particularly worth reading for my previous fandoms, and you won't find any of what there is on here. My intention for this journal is to post reviews, meta, fanfiction, and anything else that takes my fancy.

I am not a shipper. My tastes run towards well-written gen fiction, but I'm happy to read or write most pairings, as long as there's a plot in there somewhere. I don't do Sam/Dean Wincest or real person fiction - I'm not trying to spoil anyone's fun, but it seems a good idea to state upfront that I'm not into those things. However, while I like to consider myself a 'serious' fan who likes intelligent fiction and well-written meta, I do have some guilty pleasures. Angsty John/Dean, most kinds of Dean/OMC, crack that doesn't end in cheesy romance, and extreme angst. Angst is like porn to me - mostly I can take it or leave it, but just occasionally, I go out and find something really gratuitous to emotionally masterbate to. Or something like that.
